Background
Occasionally, individuals create new Citrix accounts due to a purchase of Citrix product or to find information, however; in most instances, the company purchasing the product already has a Citrix account or the Citrix Order Fulfillment department creates an account for a net new customer who does not have one and applies the product to that account.
Individual vs. Organization Account
An individual account is an account that a contact or user created themselves by visiting Citrix.com, clicking the My Account link in the upper right corner and selecting the Create Account button and is unable to locate an account associated to their organization.
An Organizational account is an account that already exists and has all the company’s associated information such as, but not limited to, contacts, products and licenses, associated affiliates, and maintenance agreement information, etc.

Instructions
Procedure to Associate a Contact to an Organizational Account – Partner
If you are an employee of a partner account, your company should already have an account. Follow the below instructions to locate that account.
Jpmc Workspace Citrix
- Visit www.citrix.com/partnercentral.
- Select the Request Account button.
- Enter information in the required fields and search.
- We recommend trying several different company names if the first attempt does not return any results, Example: Citrix Systems, Citrix Systems, Inc., Citrix, Citrix Systems Inc. Account names may be abbreviated or punctuation could be added or missing.
- If the system finds your company, it will display in a box at the bottom of the page.
- Click the radial button next to the company name and the Continue button.
- The next page shows a list of your company’s Location or Organization Administrators that you can contact and request to be added to the account.
- If no account is found, proceed to create a new account; refer to CTX106671 - How to Create a New Citrix Account ID/Org ID.
